Silver Horizon is a complex and community management company based in the Paphos district of Cyprus, and part of The Horizon Group. We work with residential developments, apartment complexes and gated communities — the shared buildings, grounds and finances that a group of owners holds in common.
Running a development well is a job with a lot of moving parts. There is a communal budget to set and stick to, fees to collect, a bank account to account for, contractors to appoint and supervise, and pools, gardens, lifts and shared systems to keep in good order — alongside insurance, utilities, and a management committee that has to be able to see all of it and answer to the owners it represents.
We run the business with a small team and modern systems. Communal accounts, budgets, fee collection and monthly reporting are managed through dedicated accounting and block-management software, so the numbers stay accurate, current, and consistent every time the committee looks at them.
Every engagement is set out in a written service-level agreement — visit frequency, response times, and the date each month the report arrives. Communal funds are held in an account in the development's own name. Contractor work is quoted before it starts and carries a flat, stated margin.
The result is a service a committee can see into: a report on the same date every month, a clear view of the communal account, and a full record of what has been done and spent.
When that work is done properly and reported clearly, a development stays well kept, disagreements stay rare, and owners' investments hold their value. When it isn't, everyone living there feels it.
Silver Horizon was set up to do that one job, and to do it in the open. Every development we manage is run to a written service-level agreement, with its funds held in an account in its own name and a plain-English report to owners every month.
